Learn how to ride a horse, safely and in style – before you ever approach a horse! Gain the knowledge necessary to feel safe & confident the first time you sit in the saddle, and really make the most of your investment in riding lessons.
level 2 character riding horse in Runes of Magic using horses from tutorial and level 2 gift bag. The music is from same game. The speed in video is increased with 50%. The real ride is 30 min. To get to all areas I think it would take 45 min real time. Sorry for the lags. The idea is to show the areas and how big Runes of Magic is. Relax and enjoy the ride and the music.
For one of my girldfirend’s (19) christmas presents, I want to get a horse riding game because she is always playing them online.
Does anyone know first hand of a good one I can buy for her?
As far as I know most Horse games are marketed towards young girls. I don’t know who entertaining your girlfriend would find them, but here’s a small list:
Final Stretch Horse Racing Sim: http://www.amazon.com/Global-Star-Software-Stretch-Horse-Racing/dp/B0000AK9NY/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&s=software&qid=1196711091&sr=1-7
Those are the ones I find that seem to be geared toward someone older.

Heya,
I love horses and i really want to play on horse games , i already play on horseisle horseland and howrse anybody know anymore ?
Hi there…here’s what I searched for virtual horse games online: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&client=safari&rls=en&q=virtual+horse+game&btnG=Search
It’s almost christmas and my little cousin wants a horse riding game for her computer. She already has Spirit and Barbie games. she is in between the ages of 8 and 9.
My daughter just turned 9. She is positively nuts about horses, and I asked her what she thought. She has spent a lot of time playing the following horse games:
Riding Star. There are some different versions of this, and she has Champion Dreams First to Ride: Very focused on jumping. She’s played it so much I can hear the music in my sleep! This is definitely a great jumping game for her age.
Horse Farm — which is a broader game more focused on building stables, having foals etc. If you do get this one, look at her site below for the "cheat." I don’t like that term, but it’s the only way to play that game without getting totally frustrated.
Saddle Club is also an interesting game but tricky. It’s a simulation where you mount your horse then go all over the island looking for clues to solve a mystery. It’s pretty challenging and might be more fun for her in a year or two, though she did spent a fair amount of time on it when she got it about a year ago.

I need a game where you can have a horse and groom him, feed him, and especially ride him. Like own a horse but it is virtual. But this game cannot be down loadable or it cannot be one of those games you have to buy. I need it to be good and fun too.
There is a large list of online horse games here (just scroll down until you find the list with direct links to the following sites) http://www.girlgamezone.com/dress-up-pets.html
They will all be online (no download) & be flash or java. Odds are that most or all are free-to-play, but some may have subscription fees.

Make all the kids take off their boots and put them in a mixed up pile at the far end of the arena. Make them race down to them, put both on without ever losing hold of their horse, and ride back.

I’m looking for some fun and creative games to play on horseback. I work as a counselor at a horse camp, and I’m hoping to set up some games for the campers to play. The campers are of all ages and experience levels, so I’m hoping to find easy games for the younger kids and some difficult or high-speed/high-intensity ones for the more advanced riders. Or just fun horse-related games in general!
some games that we play on horse back are:
-mustangs & cougars: this works best with bigger groups of riders. everyone pairs up in "islands" of two horses and their is one "mustang" and one "cougar". the cougar has to chase the mustang until they get close enough to "tag" them{usually within two feet}. when the cougar tags the mustang, they switch roles. after a few role trades, the current mustang trades off with someone who is part of an island. and, to keep the game fair, the cougar must slowly count to five in between every tag or switch.
- Duck, Duck, Goose: simple enough, have everyone pick a spot against the wall, or the outside of the arena if you will, and have the person who’s it go around the inside. when they pick a goose, the goose chases them around the arena once, if the person gets passed, they continue their circle and park in the goose’s spot as the goose then continues to pick their goose.
- Red Rover: have one person circling in between to sides of the arena, have one announcer say which horses to send across and again, the tagging space is about two feet. you can either have one designated "rover" for a certain amount of time, or you can trade off every time someone is tagged.
-Bi-wrangler boxes: have two boxes or barells set up at the end of the arena. have one horse at a time go down between the two boxes, around the left one, back through the middle, and then around the right one, and then proceeding home so the next rider can go
- Keyhole: set up boxes/barells/cones in the shape of a keyhole. the rider must go down into the keyhole, turn around inside without knocking anything down or stepping out of the hole, and then finishing the relay before their opponent.
-Clothes pins: WARNING! I RECCOMEND THAT YOU ONLY PLAY THIS GAME WITH VERY EXPERIANCED RIDERS ONLY!!! This is a fast-paced game that requires enough skill to maneuver tight turns without yanking on the horses. the tagging zone is also much closer. give every rider 5 clothes pins. have them attach them to what they can, their saddles, their clothes but NOT the horses’ reins/headstalls. your goal is to end the game with the most pins. the tagging range for this game is about 6 inches to one foot, so again, EXPERIANCED riders only please. this is a very dangerous game if played incorrectly.
if you would like to hear of more games, because i have A LOT just shoot me an e-mail and i would be more than happy to share them with you. :] hailey_sweet13@yahoo.com
